No stock photos, no renders; every patch below has shipped to a real rider or club.
Zoom in on any patch in our gallery, and you’ll see the difference high stitch-density embroidery makes: clean edges, no visible backing fabric, and colors that hold up after years of sun, rain, and highway wind. It’s the same construction quality- merrowed or hot-cut borders, heavyweight backing, tight fill stitching- that goes into every order, whether it’s one patch or fifty.
Patches that bring riders together
Rally, run, ride or memorial. We create custom patches for any biker event
Commemorate your event with high-quality embroidered patches that riders will be proud to wear.
Custom Designs, any size or shape. Perfect for rallies, charity rides, biker weeks and more.
We looked at how the rest of the industry treats custom orders. Then we built the opposite.
One patch, Resonable price per piece, same attention to detail.
You review the real, embroidered patch before any full-order payment.
Most orders ship inside a week of sample approval, not a month.
Your Design, digitized and stitched to match, not picked off a rack.
Many custom patch makers won't even quote a single patch.
You approve a price and a mockup, not a real embroidered piece.
Standard production queues at most patch companies run 15–20+ days.
Big patch retailers mainly resell pre-made designs, not club-specific biker sets.
Real clubs, real solo riders, real reorders: here’s what they say after their patches arrive.

Everything a rider needs to know before ordering, straight from people who stitch these every day.
Biker patches carry more history than most riders realize. What looks like a simple piece of embroidery on the back of a vest is actually part of a visual language that’s been evolving since the years after World War II, one with its own layout rules, materials, and unwritten etiquette. Whether you’re patching your first cut or replacing a worn bottom rocker on your tenth, here’s the full picture.
Modern motorcycle patch culture traces back to the years right after World War II, when returning servicemen brought a taste for military-style unit insignia and a need for brotherhood into the civilian riding scene. The American Motorcyclist Association, founded in 1924, had already become the umbrella body for sanctioned road clubs; independent riding groups began stitching their own emblems onto surplus flight jackets and denim to mark themselves apart from it. By the 1950s and ’60s, the three-piece “top rocker, center patch, bottom rocker” layout had become the standard way a club displayed its name, insignia and home turf on a cut, a format that’s barely changed in seventy years, and one we still build to the same proportions today.
Every traditional “three-piece” back layout is built from the same building blocks, regardless of the club or the design on top of them:
Patch imagery isn’t random; most of it carries decades of shared meaning inside riding culture. Skulls and winged emblems are usually read as a nod to mortality and brotherhood: a reminder to ride hard and live free. Eagles, flags and stars lean patriotic, a way of tying the open road to freedom in the broader sense. A club’s colors, the specific patch combination and design a chapter wears, function as its registered identity; wearing another club’s colors without permission is one of the fastest ways to cause serious offense in riding culture, so custom, club-specific artwork (not a generic design off a shelf) matters. You may also come across a small diamond patch reading “1%”; this traces back to a 1947 American Motorcyclist Association statement distinguishing sanctioned club riders from a small minority operating outside that structure; some independent clubs later adopted the diamond as a badge of that outsider identity. We build any of these patches to order, but we always recommend understanding what a patch signals before you wear it.
The backing you choose affects both how a patch goes on and how long it stays there:
On leather: never use an iron; the heat will dry out, shrink, or crack the hide. Instead, position the patch with pins or temporary tape, then hand- or machine-sew it in place using a heavy-duty needle with nylon or polyester thread, stitching just through the leather so you don’t block any liner pockets underneath.
On denim: iron-on backing makes this straightforward. Position the patch, lay a pressing cloth or thin towel over the embroidery to protect the threads, and press firmly with a hot iron for 20-30 seconds. For a hold that won’t lift at the corners over time, we still recommend adding a few stabilizer stitches around the edge, even on an iron-on patch.
A simple rule of thumb covers most orders: add the patch’s width and height together in inches, then divide by two; that rough number is what most patch makers (us included) use to estimate pricing and stitch count. In practice, back patches for men’s cuts commonly run 10-12 inches wide, women’s closer to 8-9 inches, while front, shoulder, or pocket patches usually stay under 4 inches so small text and fine detail stay legible at close range. If you’re not sure, send us your rough dimensions with your artwork, and we’ll confirm the right size before anything goes into production.
Spot-clean rather than machine-washing a patched vest whenever possible; a soft cloth, mild soap, and water on the patch itself is usually enough. Avoid harsh solvents near embroidery thread, since some dyes can fade or bleed. Check stitching edges periodically and re-secure any loose threads before they unravel further, and if your patches are sewn to leather, keep the surrounding hide conditioned so it doesn’t dry out and crack along the stitch line. A well-maintained patch set will easily outlast the vest it’s sewn to.
